WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT LOAN PRODUCTS AVAILABLE*?

*Available loan terms depend on branch of service and type of loan

 

A. PETTY CASH LOAN 

  • Covers small expenses and bills
  • Maximum term of payment:  12 months or 1 year

B. EMERGENCY LOAN 

  • Applies to immediate financial needs
  • Maximum term of payment:  36 months or 3 years

C. SALARY LOAN 

  • Covers medium to large-scale expenses such as but not limited to house repairs and other similar expenses
  • Maximum term of payment:  72 months or 6 years

D. MULTI-PURPOSE LOAN

  • Covers a wide variety of expense types
  • Maximum term of payment:  72 months or 6 years

E. APPLIANCE LOAN

  • Applies to installment purchase of durable items such as but not limited to appliances, furniture, firearms and equipment
  • Maximum term of payment: 72 months or 6 years

F. BUSINESS LOAN (now with fewer requirements)

  • Supports livelihood and income-generating projects
  • Maximum term of payment:  72 months or 6 years

G. SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE LOAN (SEAL)

  • Covers educational needs such as but not limited to tuition fees and other school-related expenses of members or dependents
  • Maximum term of payment: 12 months or 1 year 

H. BACK-TO-BACK LOAN 

  • Maximum loan ceiling depends on member’s Regular Savings Deposit, Time Deposit and/or Share Capital as collateral
  • Maximum term of payment: 60 months or 5 years

I. COMMUTATION LOAN 

  • Intended for retiring personnel or heirs of deceased military personnel of the Philippine Army; charged to commutation benefits
  • Maximum term of payment: 6 months

J. PENSION LOAN 

  • Available to member-pensioners

K. CALAMITY LOAN (on a per need basis)

  • Intended to provide immediate assistance to members affected by calamities such as typhoons, floods, fires and earthquakes, among others
  • Maximum term of payment:  72 months or 6 years

L. HOUSING LOAN (NEW!!!)

  • Used for the acquisition of a lot, a house-and-lot unit, a condo unit or other real estate properties, as well as for house construction and repair
  • Maximum term of payment:  72 months or 6 years

M. CAR/AUTO LOAN (NEW!!!)

  • Intended for the acquisition of a vehicle
  • Maximum term of payment:  72 months or 6 years

N. PROVIDENTIAL LOAN (NEW!!!)

  • Covers travel and leisure, education-related expenses, minor house repairs, utility bills, and other miscellaneous expenses 
  • Maximum term of payment:  36 months or 3 years
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

A. BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Current and preceding original payslips 
  • Photocopy of PAFCPIC ID and any valid government ID
  • Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES) attendance

B. OTHER REQUIREMENTS 

Philippine Army

  • Photocopy of ETE / ETAD / Appointment Order / Executive Order 79
  • Authority to Deduct
  • Discipline, Law and Order Clearance (if loan amount is P200,000.00 and above)
  • Certificate of Non-Pending Case (if loan amount is P200,000.00 and above)  
  • Deed of Assignment (for Commutation Loan only)

Philippine Air Force 

  • Photocopy of ETE / ETAD / Appointment Order / Executive Order 79
  • Authority to Deduct
  • Photocopy of ATM (for those who are 15 years and above in regular service) 
  • Provost Marshall Clearance
  • Spouse Consent or Waiver / Certificate of Singleness

Philippine Navy 

  • Photocopy of ETE / ETAD / Appointment Order / Executive Order 79
  • Authority to Deduct
  • Photocopy of ATM (for those who are 15 years and above in regular service) 
  • Provost Marshall Clearance

Retirees / Pensioners 

  • Retirement Order or Posthumous Order 
  • Photocopy of Pensioner’s ID or Beneficiary ID 
  • Certificate of Beneficiary (for heirs only) 
  • Other forms to be filled up for credit insurance 

Business Loan

  • Business Information Form, Barangay Business Clearance / Permit and interview by PSO Head
  • Business Information Form, Business Permit / Mayor’s Permit and interview by PSO Head 

Special Educational Assistance Loan (SEAL) 

  • School Assessment and / or quotation of required books (not yet enrolled)
  • Billing Statement / Official Receipts (OR) for current school fees and / or required books / uniforms (already enrolled)
  • Assessment Billing and / or any proof of documents (not yet registered for Board review and examination)
  • OR for examination and review fees (already registered for Board review and examination)

Commutation Loan Retiring personnel 

  • Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) ATM card
  • Deed of Assignment and Authority for Fund Transfer (AFT)
  • Statement of Last Payment (SOLP)
  • Commutation and Retirement Order 
  • Personnel Action Form (if necessary) 
  • Military Leave or Furlough Record

Heirs of deceased member

  • Posthumous Order 
  • Distribution of Final Decree
  • Certification of Beneficiaries from Army Record Center (ARC)
  • Authority to Deposit (if for deposit to RSD)

Calamity Loan

  • Proof of Residence (Barangay Certificate, ID or billing address)
  • Barangay certification (for fire victims only)

Car Loan

  • Quotation from authorized / legitimate car dealer

Housing Loan 

  • Any proof of ownership (title, deed of sale, etc)
