Pasay City, Philippines – In celebration of the Air Force Finance Center’s 46th anniversary, PAFCPIC was given a plaque of appreciation for its invaluable support for and partnership with the Air Force Finance
Lt Gen Oscar P Lopez, PAFCPIC Vice President for Operations, received the plaque of appreciation on behalf of PAFCPIC.
“PAFCPIC is thankful for the recognition,” said LtGen Lopez. “It is an honor to be considered as one of the supporters of the Air Force Finance Center.”
PAFCPIC used to exclusively cater to the Philippine Army, but it opened its membership in 2016 to active and retired military personnel from other uniformed services in the Armed Forces of the Philippines such as the Philippine Navy and the Philippine Air Force.
“Slowly we are penetrating the Air Force market, and we are able to do this with the help of the Air Force Finance Center. Their system is commendable; computerized and paperless. They facilitate the transactions very smoothly, particularly with their Financial Institution Loan Monitoring System (FILMS),” General Lopez added.
The event ended with a departure ceremony to honor the guest speaker, MGen Glicerio G Peralta, Chief of Air Staff, Philippine Air Force.
